GMC provided master planning services for the existing hospital and determined that the most cost effective solution was to create a more efficient replacement hospital to upgrade the current facilities designed in the 1950s. GMC provided a data-driven program for the new hospital and evaluated three site options for access, visibility, and size. From this, a two-phased concept was developed.

The initial phase allows for an urgent care unit which will provide immediate and improved healthcare services to the community, followed by a second phase development of a new 50,000 sf replacement facility that will include a 22-bed nursing unit, surgery, imaging, emergency department, pharmacy, lab, and related support services.
