Executive Vice President, Environmental

Jof serves as the Executive Vice President of the Environmental division for GMC. In this role, Jof provides oversight and leadership to all of the firms’ environmental services teams across the Southeast. The environmental team has been on the forefront of innovative ecological restoration and design techniques, from mitigation bank planning and stream restoration, to development of comprehensive stormwater management plans and more. A professional wetland scientist, Jof has more than 20 years of experience in aquatic ecology, stream and wetland permitting and restoration, remedial strategies and additional comprehensive environmental services. He has extensive experience working with various regulating agencies, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, EPA, state departments of transportation, environmental management agencies, departments of natural resources, FAA, FEMA and more. He graduated from Brevard College with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and later received a Master in Environmental Science from Columbus State University. Jof is also a qualified airport wildlife biologist.
