Since joining GMC in 1991, Galen has proven himself to be a leader in the firm and in the community. Galen founded the firm’s Environmental division in 1993 and also served as Chief Operating Officer before his current role as President of Headwaters, LLC . He also serves on the Board of Directors. He serves on the Alabama Shakespeare Festival Executive Committee, Boys and Girls Club of the River Region Board and is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery. He is also an appointed member of the Alabama Department of Public Health Environmental Committee and a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Professional Engineers, National Registry of Environmental Professionals, Business Council of Alabama and the Environment and Energy Committee.
