Located in the heart of Braves Country near Cobb and Fulton County, GMC’s Atlanta office is conveniently located off Highway 285 within the perimeter. Our office has grown significantly in the last 10 years, with a blended mix of architectural designers and engineers.

Atlanta Projects

The Washington County Schools IGAL Academy in Sandersville, Georgia will be a home for both enrichment maker spaces for the district’s primary and middle school students as well as the developing culinary arts program of the adjacent Washington County High School. IGAL is the district’s abbreviation for Innovative Gifted Accelerated Learning.
GMC completed a Stormwater Utility Feasibility Study for the City of Dahlonega. This led to the implementation of a Stormwater Utility for the City. This is a user fee system that collects fees for dedicated stormwater projects and expenses based on the amount of impervious area on a given site.
Chamblee’s City Hall is placed as the centerpiece for the city’s developing downtown master plan. The building is intended to be a beacon for the community as it evokes a sense of historical significance and pride.
GMC worked with Atlanta Public Schools to help renovate Emma Hutchinson Elementary School, a pre-kindergarten to fifth-grade school in South Atlanta. One of the highlights of the project was converting the existing auditorium into a maker space.
On March 25 and 26, 2021 an EF4 Tornado went through the city of Newnan leaving devastating damage along the way. GMC established a team of professionals and were on the ground within 24 hours of the storm and worked with the City of Newnan to identify all damages which included, vegetative debris, damaged buildings, streets and street signs, to complete the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) for FEMA.
GMC was selected by Henry County Water Authority (HCWA) to provide a long-range plan for the development of water and wastewater facilities in the Henry County Water Authority system over the next several years. This Master Plan covered population and demand projections, resiliency, water supply, assessment of the system and evaluation of treatment facilities, and capital improvements plan.
