Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is pleased to announce the promotion of engineer Daniel Mosher, PE, to South Carolina Water Practice Leader. In this role, Mosher will be responsible for leading and developing design teams focused on water and wastewater projects, in addition to building and maintaining client relationships.
Mosher has nearly a decade of experience in water resources engineering, with a strong background working with water and wastewater utilities across the state. Along with a thorough understanding of water resources and site development concepts, he also has extensive expertise coordinating with clients, permitting agencies and contractors to facilitate an efficient and high-quality design and construction process.
“Daniel will serve our team and clients with a strong dedication to excellence,” says Kevin Laird, Executive Vice President of Engineering. “His military background provided him with the tools for leadership, discipline and attention to detail that will benefit our clients across the state of South Carolina.”
Mosher served as an engineering project manager prior to this promotion. He has worked on notable projects including the Beaufort Jasper Water and Sewer Authority’s Purrysburg water treatment plant expansion, numerous projects with the Orangeburg Department of Public Utilities and the City of Columbia, among others. In addition, he has helped establish firm-wide procedures, training programs and design resources to improve overall efficiency and quality since joining GMC.
A licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, Mosher earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina, bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Buffalo and an associate’s degree in science from Midlands Technical College.
