Matthew Nicholson accepted into ACHA as a Board Certified healthcare architect

[ATLANTA, Ga.] – Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) architect Matthew Nicholson has been accepted into the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) as a Board-Certified healthcare architect.
Matthew Nicholson serves as Healthcare Practice Leader for Goodwyn Mills Cawood in Atlanta, Georgia. With more than 17 years in the AEC industry, his experience includes vertical expansions, department renovations, campus additions, facility master planning and much more.
Matt has been the project lead on several healthcare developments during his time with GMC, including facilities for Grady Health, Baptist Health, Washington County Regional Medical Center, and Wellstar Health System. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a bachelor’s of architecture and is NCARB Certified with licenses in both California and Georgia.
ACHA requires its Certificate Holders to actively contribute to enhancing healthcare architecture for the benefit of the public. They are expected to engage in ethical practices, uphold rigorous standards of specialized continuing education and contribute substantially to the existing knowledge base. Matt is now among an exclusive, elite class of certified healthcare architects sought out for their expertise by clients on past and potential, cutting-edge future projects. There are currently 575+ ACHA Certified architects.
