Lowder New Homes breaks ground on new Pike Road neighborhood

Lowder New Homes has officially broken ground on the new Kinsley neighborhood in Pike Road, Alabama.  

The 577-acre master-planned community is located in the McDade area of Pike Road, combining the best natural and built amenities to provide residents with a quality lifestyle. The neighborhood is centered around a 16-acre lake and will feature amenities including a modern clubhouse, fitness center, pool, playground, tennis and pickleball courts, two dog parks, dog washing station, walking trails and more. The neighborhood is also in close proximity to all of the Pike Road Schools, while also being a short distance from nearby hospitals, military facilities, retail and more in Montgomery. 

“Goodwyn Mills Cawood has had the pleasure of working with Lowder New Homes for over 30 years, including the new Kinsley development for the past 20,” GMC Vice President of Engineering Max Vaughn said. “The team has paid close attention to the details of this project to ensure all residents would benefit. Several GMC employees, including myself, live in Pike Road and are very excited for this new development and the impact it will have on the future of our community.”  

In addition to serving as the lead engineer, GMC is providing environmental, surveying and landscape architecture services for the development. Lowder also worked with BSB Design to design the home floor plans, with Site Pros providing site construction services.  

Construction has already begun on the site, with construction on actual houses anticipated to begin in the winter.
