Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is pleased to announce the addition of aviation leader Todd Bloch in Kentucky. As aviation manager, he is responsible for aviation project management, business development and strategic plan development in Kentucky, in addition to utilizing his expertise to assist GMC’s airport clients throughout the Southeast.
“We are excited to have Todd as part of GMC’s Aviation team. He has extensive expertise working in various facets of the industry that will add tremendous value to our aviation clients throughout Kentucky, as well as the Southeast,” GMC Vice President of Aviation Ryan Pearce said.
Bloch has had a long and diverse career in aviation spanning more than 32 years. Prior to his aviation consulting work with commercial and general aviation airport clients throughout Kentucky, Todd served as the commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Aviation for three years after serving for two years as deputy commissioner. As commissioner, Todd was responsible for supporting airport maintenance projects and promoting aviation economic development, workforce development and education. He served as an aviation expert and policy resource for the governor’s office, legislative branch, airport leaders and the public, and has served the aviation industry at local, state and national levels.
Prior to joining the cabinet, he spent more than three decades serving in the U.S. Army and U.S Coast Guard, completing his military career as the Director of Aviation Law Enforcement Training.
Todd’s Department of Aviation experience, as well as that gained through his military leadership roles, including airport maintenance management and his 26 years of flying experience, provides him with a unique perspective that will greatly benefit GMC’s airport clients throughout Kentucky and the Southeast.
