Former assistant director of Augusta Utilities joins GMC

GMC is pleased to announce the addition of Marie Corbin, PE, to its engineering team in Georgia. Corbin joins GMC as a water and sewer design leader and senior project manager. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, most recently serving as assistant director of the Augusta Utilities Department in Augusta, Ga.
“We are excited to have Marie as part of the GMC team and look forward to the expertise she will bring to everyone we have the opportunity to serve,” Jim Teel, GMC Regional Vice President of Georgia, said.
Corbin’s prior experience provides her an in-depth understanding of project delivery from a public agency’s perspective. In addition, she is experienced with of all aspects of project management, including public outreach, preliminary engineering, environmental approval, right-of-way acquisition, utility coordination, permitting, project approval and design, project bidding and construction oversight.
Corbin is a licensed professional engineer in Georgia and South Carolina. She will be based out of GMC’s Augusta office.
