Phase I of SGMC’s long-range master facilities plan includes a new women and infant’s tower at the main campus. Two floors will be dedicated to the birthing experience and infant and pediatric care. It will also feature an expanded neonatal intensive care unit.

According to SGMC Administrative Director of Emergency Services Tina Miller, “The expanded space and strategic design will create efficiencies that enhance throughput while also providing more privacy and an overall better experience.”
